If you are not familiar with Jesus name baptism I encourage you to research it for yourself. I have provided brief Bible study to help you see for yourself how important, how vital Jesus name baptism is. Revelation 20:12 tells us that on judgment day we will stand before God and will be judged by how closely we tried to live our lived according to the books- the books of the Bible. In the end, it doesn’t matter what your mother taught you, your pastor, you grandpa, no one – it only matters what is written in the Book and how closely you tried to live your life according to scripture.

So, for those who have a heart for Christ and hunger for a more intimate relationship with Him, I have provided this brief Bible study. Please study it out for yourself. If you want to know more feel free to reach out to me. My contact information is at the end of this book.

Matthew 28:19

Go ye therefore and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost.

Question: How is this command demonstrated throughout scripture?

Answer: You cannot find a single person anywhere in the scriptures that was baptized in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Ghost. There is not a single one.

There are thousands, however, who were baptized by full immersion in water in the NAME – the Name of Jesus.

Acts 2:38-41

Acts 4:10-12

Acts 8:12-16

Acts 8:35-39

Acts 10:46-48

Acts 16:14

Acts 16:32-34

Acts 19:1-5

1 Corinthians 1:13-16

Philippians 2:9-11

Colossians 3:17

Jesus said that NO ONE comes to the Father except through Him (John 14:6).

The Father and Holy Spirit did not die, were not buried and were not resurrected. It was Jesus who did that.

Romans 6:3-6

Galatians 3:26-27

Yes, Matthew 28:19 says that we are to baptize in the name of the Father, Son and Holy Spirit; the one, single, name, the ONLY name that saves – Jesus Christ.
